POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for a male suspect who was caught on camera stealing parts from unattended bicycles in the city's Point Breeze neighborhood.

Police were called to the scene of a robbery on the 2100 block of Titan Street shortly before 3 p.m. on November 2.

When they arrived, the victim said he saw a man attempting to take the handlebars off a bicycle which was locked to a pole.

Surveillance recovered from the scene shows the man walking down the street and stopping to check out the locked bike.

He removed 2 tires from a bicycle and casually walks away.

The bandit then returned 15 minutes later and begins to steal more parts.

When the suspect was approached by the victim - who was passing by on his own bicycle - he began to walk away and then threatened the man with a gun tucked inside his waistband.

The suspect fled on foot and was last seen heading west on Titan Street.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 40 years-old, 6'2" tall, 240lbs with a dark complexion. He was wearing a 3/4 length black leather jacket and a black beanie hat.
