Body found in charred car in Berks Co.

AMITY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPVI) -- The search is on for answers after a man was found dead inside a charred car in Berks County.

The man's body was discovered in the car, parked in a driveway on Antietam Drive in Amity Township Sunday morning.

Fire crews were called to the scene because the car was fully engulfed in flames.

Police say they are treating it as a potential homicide.

An autopsy was performed on the body, but the results have not been released.
