Officials identify 2 people killed after crashing into dump truck in South Jersey

The crash happened just before 2 p.m. on the 300 block of Berlin Cross Keys Road.

Officials: 2 people killed in car crash in Sicklerville, NJ
Authorities say two people were killed in a horrific crash in Camden County Wednesday afternoon.

SICKLERVILLE, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Authorities have identified two people killed in a horrific crash in Camden County Wednesday afternoon.



The crash happened just before 2 p.m. on the 300 block of Berlin Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville.



Investigators say 79-year-old Daniel Hammond and 79-year-old Beverly Hammond were both killed in the crash. The relationship between the victims was not immediately known.



Daniel, who was the driver, crashed his 2015 Hyundai Sonata into a dump truck that was parked on the side of the road.



The occupant of the parked dump truck was uninjured in the collision.



Berlin Cross Keys Road was closed for several hours between Kearsley and Turnersville roads.
