Grocery store robbed at knife-point in Claymont

CLAYMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police say a Save-A-Lot grocery store in Claymont was robbed at knifepoint.

It happened shortly before 3:00 p.m. in the 400 block of Naaman's Road.

Police say the male suspect confronted the clerk and got away with an unknown amount of cash.

Fortunately there were no injuries.

No word on a description of the suspect.

Police continue to investigate.
