Meet Lazarus - a rescue cat who was born with a cleft palate that left him with a severe deformity.

Though he may look ferocious, the kitty nicknamed, the "Vampire Cat", is actually quite sweet - charming thousands of fans on Facebook, Vine, and Twitter.

Lazarus even works as a trained therapy pet.

His owner uses his appearance and attitude to help children with disabilities accept their differences.
