BALA CYNWYD, Pa. (WPVI) -- A two vehicle crash near a Wawa in Bala Cynwyd sent one person to the hospital in critical condition.
It happened around 7:20 a.m. Wednesday along Belmont Avenue.
Police say the male driver of a BMW pulled up to a Wawa gas pump.
The driver tried to get out of the car while it was still in drive and the vehicle rolled forward onto Belmont Avenue.
As the driver tried to get back inside the car, the vehicle struck an Infiniti.
The BMW driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in critical condition.
Belmont Avenue was shut down between Old Belmont Avenue and Rock Hill Road but reopened at 9:35 a.m.
