Tractor-trailer fire snarls traffic on the Delaware Memorial Bridge

DELAWARE MEMORIAL BRIDGE (WPVI) -- A tractor-trailer fire on the Delaware Memorial Bridge snarled traffic during rush hour Tuesday evening.

The fire broke out in the northbound lanes of the bridge.

The view from Chopper 6 showed the charred remains of the 18-wheeler.

No injuries were reported.

The incident stopped traffic from getting into New Jersey from Delaware for several hours.
