You'll never guess who's hiding the darkest secrets on 'Wicked City'

Everyone has their secrets, and some hide them better than others. But in Wicked City, secrets can cost you your life.

Set in 1980s Los Angeles, Wicked City follows serial killer Kent Grainger as he preys upon young women who hope to make it big in Hollywood, and the detectives determined to bring him down. But Kent isn't the only one who is harboring secrets: many police members have a dark and brooding past that they hope won't come to light on the Sunset Strip.

Viewers may know who's behind a slew of murders in ABC's suspenseful, murderous crime thriller Wicked City, but that doesn't mean they'll know all the dark twists and turns. Check out to see which characters are hiding the darkest secrets on Wicked City:

1. Kent Grainger

Cool and charming, Kent masks himself as a Hollywood VIP while targeting and killing countless women who dream of making it big in Hollywood. Kent's killer trademark is calling into a radio station and making a song dedication to a girl he's about to kill. But despite his headline-grabbing, murderous behavior, Kent is a chameleon, blending into the background of LA's seedy underground with ease.

2. Betty Beaumontaine

Kent may not be acting alone in his murderous rampage. Betty, a nurse and single mother of two, might have become the Bonnie to Kent's Clyde. Underneath Bonnie's timid demeanor lies a deeper sadistic side, making her the perfect accomplice to Kent's killings.

3. Dianne Kubek

Dianne has a lot of roles on her plate: she's an undercover cop who is posing as a strip club cocktail waitress and a drug dealer. But her most dangerous role is that of former lover to detective Jack Roth. Dianne and Jack's fiesty history will definitely cause issues along the way.

4. Paco Conteras

Paco is a detective assigned to the case who definitely has a lot of work cut out for him. If trying to track down a serial killer wasn't hard enough, Paco must rebuild his bridges with his fellow officers after being labeled a narc and getting another cop kicked out of the force.

5. Karen McClaren

A struggling young journalist trying to make it big with an expose on the Sunset Strip, Karen becomes involved in the case after she unknowingly giving her phone number to Kent. Now the detectives want to use Karen as bait to help lure in Kent.
