2 men sought in armed robbery of Family Dollar store in Oxford Circle

OXFORD CIRCLE -- Police are searching for the two men who allegedly armed robbed a Family Dollar store in the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia Friday night.

The incident happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. along the 5700 block of Oxford Avenue.

According to police, the men entered the store and demanded cash. They say one of the suspects was armed.

They took an unknown amount of money then fled the scene on foot.

There were no injuries during the holdup.

Police are checking the surveillance cameras for information.
