Fighting bed bugs has always been tough. And now a new trial at Purdue University shows it may be getting even more difficult.
Researchers there have found some bed bugs are becoming resistant to 2 more widely used insecticides.
Five out of ten test groups were resistant to one, while 3 out of 10 showed resistance to the other bug-killer.
Bed bugs are already resistant to several other chemicals.
They urge pest management companies to use a variety of methods to get rid of them.
