EAST GREENWICH, N.J. (WPVI) -- A firefighter is on the mend after battling a large house fire in Gloucester County.
The blaze started before 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
Crews arrived to find flames coming from a 150-year-old home in the 500 block of Kings Highway in East Greenwich.
A firefighter suffered a leg injury when part of a floor collapsed before crews got the upper hand.
The firefighter was taken to Inspira Medical Center in Woodbury, New Jersey. for treatment.
Two people who were home at the time made it out safely.
Action News is told two of the family's three dogs perished in the blaze.
The American Red Cross is assisting a family of three displaced by the fire.
