PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Experts say reaching your weight loss goals could be easier if you make one simple change.
People who added more fiber to an otherwise normal diet were able to shed pounds, and lower their blood pressure and blood sugar - all key to avoiding diabetes and improving health.
The findings come from a one-year study of 240 people.
The study subjects ate about 30 grams of fiber every day.
Researchers think a high fiber diet is more effective because it's easier to follow and maintain.
