Most states have laws restricting indoor tanning by teens, but a new investigation shows they aren't being enforced.
Researchers posing as minors checked more than 400 salons in 42 states and the District of Columbia, asking if teens could tan there.
Thirty seven per cent of the time, the salons didn't stop them.
Pennsylvania and New Jersey ban teens under 17 from indoor tanning.
In Delaware, the minimum age is 18.
