Police: Woman stabbed in domestic incident in Northeast Philadelphia hotel

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a woman was stabbed in an apparent domestic incident inside a Northeast Philadelphia hotel.

It happened at the Ramada Hotel located along the 11500 block of the Roosevelt Boulevard.

Officers and paramedics responded to the hotel shortly after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of a woman stabbed in the lobby.

She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police say the incident appears to be domestic but no word what led up to the stabbing.

The male suspect fled the scene.

Police continue to investigate.
