1 dead, 1 injured in afternoon shooting in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting left one person dead and another injured in Kensington.

It occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Mascher and Dauphin streets.

A 28-year-old man was shot in the head. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A second male victim is hospitalized at Temple.

There is no word on his condition.

No arrests have been made.
