Local makeup artist creates own beauty line; exclusive offer available

She's a celebrated makeup artist and a new mommy making her very own line of makeup.

Monica Virga moved to Philadelphia for love from Milan, Italy, bringing a little bit of her culture to our city and a big discount to 6abc viewers!

It's a passion that started when Virga was a teenager growing up in Milan and after years of trying to find everything from the eyeliner that doesn't run, to foundation that doesn't cake - she decided to make it herself.

"I start to do my own brand, to have everything that I want and know which ingredient and how it will look like," she explained.

Her line is made in her hometown of Milan, but she uses it every day not only on herself, but on her clients in her Fishtown studio.

"I do for the face, I do for the body, now I did the skincare," she said.

Her Italian craftsmen use her ingredients and her instructions. She says her favorite item is the spray bronzer that works almost like an airbrush foundation and won't sweat off.

"And it's waterproof, sun protection so, it has everything and I love it," said Monica.

Her line also includes face creams and masks, lip pencils and eye pencils.

"And then I have gloss, lipstick, eyeshadows..." said Monica.

She's even ventured into perfume.

"I do fragrances like jasmine and vanilla, the extract is pure," she said.

And as for that love that brought Monica to Philadelphia in the first place? She's now the ultimate multitasker. She got married and is a new mom to little 3 month old Greyson.

She says she hopes her line will help women of all ages feel amazing, empowered and good about what they put on their face.
