Man critical after being shot multiple times in Frankford

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are checking surveillance cameras for clues after a 27-year-old was shot multiple times in Frankford early Thursday.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of Wakeling Street just before 12:30 a.m.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Investigators said they are working to determine a motive.
