Police investigate deadly shooting in Paulsboro, New Jersey

PAULSBORO, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police in South Jersey are investigating a deadly shooting.

Authorities were called to the 200 block of West Buck Street in Paulsboro, Gloucester County around 6:45 p.m. Saturday.

Upon arrival, police found 21-year-old Davontae Randall, who had suffered apparent gunshot wounds.

That person was taken to Inspira Medical Center in Woodbury, but later died.

Upon further investigation, detectives determined that the victim was in a physical altercation with the suspect, who was known to the victim.

Witnesses claim to have seen the suspect flee the scene on foot.

So far, no arrests have been made.
