Looking for a fun place to visit in the U.S. in 2015? Then look no further than these awesome travel spots.

Lonely Planet, a website focused on traveling, recently published their "Best in the US 2015" list, featuring the top domestic travel locations picked out by the site's authors and editors.

At the top spot is Queens, New York, a strange choice on the surface seeing how its neighboring boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn often get more attention. But the website noted Queens' burgeoning craft brewery scene, art and food scenes as evidence of the borough being a top travel destination.
