2 adults, 2 children injured after being struck in Parkside

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- Four people, including a 2- and 6-year-old, were injured, one critical, after being struck in the city's Parkside section.

The accident was reported around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said the vehicle struck two adults and two children.

The children were taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. They are listed in stable condition.

Two women, a 25- and 30-year-old, were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. The 30-year-old woman is listed in critical condition.

The vehicle did stop at the scene, police said.

AID is investigating, but no charges are expected against the driver.
