VINELAND, N.J. (WPVI) -- A search for a bank robbery suspect in Vineland, New Jersey, prompted a shelter in place order at two nearby schools.
The Petway School at 1115 S. Lincoln Ave. and the Rossi School at 2572 Palermo Ave. are within a mile from where a bank robbery took place Friday morning.
As a precaution, school officials ordered students and faculty to shelter in place until the police gave the all clear.
The shelter in place was lifted after about an hour around 1 p.m.
Students continued the school day, and were dismissed at normal times.
At this time, the search continues for the bank robbery suspect.
