Officials say a firefighter was injured during a house blaze in Clayton, New Jersey early Saturday morning.

Officials say a firefighter was injured during a house blaze in Clayton, New Jersey early Saturday morning.

The fire broke out around 12:35 a.m. on the 300 block of West High Street.

Flames were shooting from one side of the home when firefighters arrived.

The fire spread throughout the home. Crews were able to get the blaze under control within an hour.

The injured firefighter cut his hand.

He was treated at the hospital and released.

Investigators are looking for the cause.
