South Jersey police had to shoot and kill a Pit Bull after they say it attacked two people, including an officer.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- South Jersey police had to shoot and kill a Pit Bull after they say it attacked two people, including an officer.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. Thursday along the 1100 block of Tuckahoe Road in Camden.

Investigators say the dog bit a man in the face and the arm leaving him with severe wounds.

The officer suffered wounds to the arm.

No word yet on what caused the attack.
