Police say an 18-year-old male was shot six times and staggered to get help in the Philadelphia's Hunting Park section early Tuesday morning.

HUNTING PARK -- Police say an 18-year-old male was shot six times and staggered to get help in the Philadelphia's Hunting Park section early Tuesday morning.

The incident happened just past midnight on the 3300 block of North Orkney Street.

The victim was shot six times on Orkney Street and managed to get to the 400 block of Glenwood Avenue.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say they found an assault weapon lying against a fence.

They also have video of the incident and are talking to witnesses.
