Fire injured a woman and damaged a home Monday morning in Wilmington.

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- At least one person was injured in a house fire in Wilmington, Delaware.

The blaze was reported before 10 a.m. Monday in the unit block of North Hampshire Court in the Stonewold development.

Firefighters arrived to find massive flames and smoke coming from the home.

A second alarm was struck at 10:15 a.m. The blaze was declared under control at 11 a.m.

Action News the fire appears to have started in the garage and spread to the home, and that a woman in her 30s was hurt.

There was no immediate word on the nature or extent of the woman's injuries.
