Man shot in the face in Northern Liberties

NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- A man was shot in the face in a suspected attempted robbery in Philadelphia's Northern Liberties section.

It happened just before 4 a.m. Sunday on North Front Street near Callowhill Street.

After being wounded, the 27-year-old victim managed to run down the street before collapsing.

He was rushed to the hospital by police in critical condition.

So far, no arrests have been made.
