Officer injured after cruiser collides with fire truck in Juniata

JUNIATA (WPVI) -- One person suffered injuries after a police cruiser collided with a fire vehicle in Philadelphia's Juniata section.

It happened around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Castor and Erie avenues.

Authorities say a police officer suffered a minor injury.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital for care.

Chopper 6 over an accident involving a police vehicle and a fire truck.

There is no word yet where both vehicles were heading when the accident occurred.
