PATCO on emergency schedule after worker injured in Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A PATCO railroad worker was injured this morning, when his work truck flipped over onto the tracks.

The worker was thrown from the vehicle.

The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday at the Woodcrest Station in Cherry Hill.

Crews are working to remove the vehicle from the tracks.

Officials say the worker was not seriously hurt.

PATCO will run on a special emergency schedule between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., as clean-up efforts are underway to remove a derailed piece of construction equipment.
