Person rescued from roof during Abington Twp. fire

ABINGTON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A person was rescued from the roof of a home that was on fire Friday afternoon in Abington Township, Montgomery County.

The fire was reported in the 2100 block of Maple Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the house.

That's when they also spotted a person on the roof.

That person was rescued, but there was no word on if that person was injured.
