Boy dies from possible drowning in backyard pool

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A seven-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a backyard pool this weekend.

The boy was pulled from the pool unresponsive on the 3300 block of Red Lion Road in Philadelphia's Morrel Park section at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

He was rushed to Aria Torresdale Hospital, where he died a half hour later.

An investigation is now underway.
