PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Eagles have parted way with its Vice President of Player Personnel, the team announced Wednesday.
Tom Gamble has been in the position with the Eagles since 2013.
According to the Eagles website, prior to that, Gamble spent the previous eight seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, most recently as the team's Director of Player Personnel.
"We thank Tom for his service over the past two seasons and wish him and his family the best as they move forward," said Eagles General Manger Howie Roseman in a statement. "I appreciate all Tom has done for our scouting department and our team."
Gamble began his NFL career in the Eagles' front office, where he worked in several different capacities during his seven-year stint with the team from 1988-94, the website says.
The Eagles finished their season at 10-6.
