Police: Shooting suspect in custody after Frankford standoff

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A shooting suspect has been taken into custody after barricading himself inside a home in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, police say.

The standoff began shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday on the unit block of Larue Street.

The man was taken into police custody around 5:20 p.m.

The identity of the suspect is not yet known.

Police have not released any further information on the shooting at this time.
