Police: Body found following West Philly fire

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police said a body was found inside the charred remains of a West Philadelphia building that burned early Tuesday.

The fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. on Locust Street near 60th Street.

Flames could be seen pouring from the building when fire crews arrived.

The structure housed a store front with several apartments above.

The investigation is ongoing.
