Police: Man arrested after barricade situation in South Philly

Police: Man allegedly holding woman at knifepoint arrested in South Philly. Brian Taff has more on Action News at 4 p.m. on April 30, 2019.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Action News was in South Philadelphia as a man was taken into custody after a barricade situation in South Philadelphia.

Police believed a 23-year-old was holding a woman at knifepoint inside a home.

All of this unfolded around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

So far, no word on what prompted the situation or what charges the suspect may face.
