OVERBROOK (WPVI) -- For millions in our area, this is their first presidential election and their first chance to vote.
But for 99-year-old Mildred Babb, election day marked a different kind of first in her near century of life - the first time she can vote for a woman on a major party ticket.
Action News there as she cast her vote at the Tustin Rec center in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia.
She told us she never thought she would live to see the day that an African-American president was elected and now there's a chance she could also see a woman in the Oval Office.
"It's a blessing and I wish her all the luck in the world. She'll make it," she said.
Mildred also brought her family along with her to remind them of the importance of voting because she remembers the time when even she couldn't cast hers.
