Suspect accused of stealing phone from man in wheelchair on SEPTA bus

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- SEPTA police are asking for help finding a man that they say took advantage of the generosity of a passenger in a wheelchair.

It happened just before 12:30 p.m. Sunday on the Route 43 bus at 20th and Spring Garden streets.

Police say the suspect asked to use the victim's cell phone and the victim agreed.

The suspect allegedly kept the phone and took it with him as he got off at the next stop.
