Hero's welcome for US Navy Lieutenant

CLEMENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- In Camden County, there was a hero's welcome home just in time for the holidays.

The community of Clementon lined the streets as US Navy Lieutenant Emily Weaver received a police and fire escort.

The reception was quite a surprise for Weaver who just returned home from a six-month deployment.

After some hugs and lots of handshakes, Weaver was presented with a special service medal.

Weaver served in the Persian Gulf aboard the USS Eisenhower.
