Man shot to death in van in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a homicide in Southwest Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 5:10 a.m. Sunday at 52nd Street and Woodland Avenue.

Arriving officers found the 39-year-old male victim in the front passenger seat of a Chevrolet Uplander suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are searching the area for surveillance video.

No arrests have been made.
