Man critical after Southwest Philadelphia shooting

Police are investigating a shooting that left a 27-year-old man critically injured in Southwest Philadelphia.

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a 27-year-old man critically injured in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened around 8:22 p.m. Wednesday along the 6800 block of Woodland Avenue.

Police say the victim was shot once in the left shoulder.

He was rushed by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.

So far, no arrests and no weapon has been recovered.
