Wilmington police say the driver of a stolen vehicle crashed injuring two innocent people and another suspect.

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Wilmington police say the driver of a stolen vehicle crashed into several cars injuring a number of people.

At approximately 3:41 p.m. Sunday Wilmington police attempted to stop the driver of a Nissan Sentra that was reported to be stolen.

Police say the driver refused to pull over and entered the intersection of 4th and Tatnall streets where it collided with a Jeep Cherokee.

The impact of the collision caused the Cherokee to then strike a compact vehicle.

The compact vehicle then struck the side of Delaware Technical and Community College.

The stolen vehicle continued on Tatnall Street where it collided with a parked vehicle and came to a stop.

A 17-year-old female who was inside the Nissan Sentra was taken into custody.

Several passengers in the vehicles that were involved in the collisions were transported to area hospitals.

None of the injuries are believed to life threatening.
