You may have heard that recycling plastic grocery bags can jam up machinery, but what might not be as well known is that there are other ways to get rid of the stuff.

A plastic bag ban is now in effect in two Delaware County communities.
"We are saving so much on the grocery store side of it in terms of producing waste that this would be a quick and easy fix," said Senator Bob Smith.
Starting today, most grocery stores in the Garden State will not be allowed to give out single-use plastic or paper bags.
Starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, every Wawa store in the Garden State will be giving away 1,000 free reusable bags with a purchase while supplies last.
