Taylor Swift surprises 96-year-old World War II veteran

NEW MADRID, Mo. -- A World War II veteran in Missouri got a surprise visit from pop star Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift serenaded a 96-year-old World War II veteran during a surprise visit Monday.

Cyrus Porter, 96, says his favorite singer is Taylor Swift, so the singer showed up at his house Monday in New Madrid, Mo. for a surprise visit.

At one point, Cyrus got up and danced.

Porter has been to multiple Swift concerts. He was diagnosed with cancer this year and he says that his goal is seeing Taylor Swift again in concert for her next tour.
