Teen struck by car in Bear, Delaware

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- A 17-year-old is fighting for his life after he was hit a by a car in Bear, Delaware.

Police were called to Route 40 near Route 1 just before 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The teen was treated on the scene for a head injury then rushed to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

Delaware State Police are investigating.
