Pa. State Police: 542 people arrested for DUI over Thanksgiving weekend

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Pennsylvania state police were out in full force this past holiday weekend to combat aggressive and drunk driving.

In a report released Monday, troopers say they investigated a total of 979 crashes, four of which were deadly.

Authorities say 542 people were arrested for driving under the influence and more than 10,000 speeding citations were issued.
