TINICUM, Pa. (WPVI) -- A power outage in Tinicum Township, Bucks County is believed to have been caused by an unwelcome guest at a power substation.
The incident happened around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, causing several small fires at residences, and knocking out traffic lights in the area.
An official with Met Ed says almost 1,500 customers are without power after a critter got into a substation.
The official says crews are working on the problem and hope to have power restored Wednesday afternoon.
