EAST WINDSOR, N.J. (WPVI) -- A tractor-trailer jackknifed on the New Jersey Turnpike in East Windsor Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 6 a.m. in the northbound outer lanes near exit 8.
Officials say a side saddle fuel tank ruptured, causing fuel to leak on the highway.
The driver suffered an arm injury and was checked at the scene.
Crews were working to clear the accident and fuel from the highway.
Northbound outer lane traffic was backed up for several miles approaching the scene.
