1 dead in crash on I-95 Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- One person is dead following a crash on I-95 in Southwest Philadelphia Monday afternoon.

The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes near the Bartram Avenue exit.

Chopper 6 was over the scene where one vehicle was on its roof and several others were damaged.

Police are still investigation what led up to the crash.

The accident shutdown the northbound lanes near Philadelphia International Airport for several hours.
