TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Crews find a dead cat while battling a house fire in Trenton, New Jersey.

The 2-alarm fire broke out around 7 a.m. Wednesday in the unit block of Roebling Avenue and Genesee Street.

Officials say the 3-story house was abandoned as crews battled the cold and flames.

It's not clear who the cat belonged to.

No firefighters were hurt and the cause is under investigation.
