EAST WHITELAND TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A water main break shut down part of a road in Chester County Monday morning.
The ruptured main was discovered before 5 a.m. Monday on Swedesford Road in East Whiteland Township.
Authorities closed Swedesford Road between Church Road and Phoenixville Pike because they were concerned ice from the gushing water would create a hazard for motorists.
There was no immediate word when the road would reopen.
