Woman critical in West Philadelphia shooting

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 5:40 p.m. Monday along the 5100 block of West Thompson Street.

Police say a 26-year-old woman was shot once in the right side.

She was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
